Nashik News: Shri Kalaram Mandir Sansthan, the trust that manages the Kalaram Temple Nashik, has organised the Vasantik Navratri Mahotsav 2026 at the historic temple in Panchavati region of Nashik city.

The festival will commence on 19 March 2026, coinciding with Gudi Padwa, marking the beginning of the Hindu New Year and Chaitra Navratri, and will continue till 30 March 2026.

Chaitra Navratri and the Hindu New Year

The Mahotsav coincides with Chaitra Navratri, which begins with the Chaitra month and marks the start of the Hindu New Year.

The first day is observed as Gudi Padwa in Maharashtra and by several other names across the country.

One of the most awaited events of the Mahotsav is the Saptami Mahaprasad, where a full-day free meal (prasad) is served to thousands of devotees who gather at the temple.
